Book Club
The mission of the Mizner Falls Book Group is to provide residents with an opportunity to engage in lively, facilitated discussion about a recommended book that members have read. Each month the group selects a book for the upcoming meeting – generally a novel that has received favorable literary reviews or been highly recommended. The goal is to address a variety of themes, cultures and historical periods over the course of the year.
CLUB ITALIA
In the past, Club Italia has brought a little Italian flair into Mizner Falls. Our events have always been a success, not only bringing Italian culture, but also presenting other European countries’ cultures with delizioso (delicious) food, molto (much) dancing and vivace (lively) entertainment. All are welcome; you don't have to be Italian to come to our events and join in the fun.

JEWISH HERITAGE CLUB
The mission of the Jewish Heritage Club (JHC) is to offer programs that provide Mizner Falls’ residents and their guests, affiliated with the Jewish faith, the opportunity to share and reinforce their Jewish heritage. Programs offered feature traditional Jewish content in keeping with today's lifestyles and interests. Monthly programs offered to date have included presentations on the Holocaust, Anne Frank, the rescue of Syrian Jews, the attempted assassination of Hitler, the Israeli Defense Force, Klezmer and cantorial concerts and a Chanukah barbeque for members and their visiting grandchildren. In addition, the Club has sponsored trips to places of Jewish interest such as the Miami Holocaust Museum and JAFCO and has donated funds and food to JAFCO and the Caridad Center. The JHC also sponsors monthly films of Jewish content at no charge to members and their guests.
MEN’S CLUB
The mission of the Men's Club is to provide an opportunity for men to interact with other men in the community and make new friends. We offer a variety of interesting and enjoyable activities in which to participate, both inside and outside the community. We meet for breakfast or lunch on pre-announced Sunday's each month at 10:30 a.m. The meeting time may vary to accommodate our guest speakers and other clubs' events. We always welcome suggestions for meeting agendas. Meetings have featured sports figures, coaches, players and even sports trivia contests. We also have had tech talks, digital camera presentations and speakers on history, economics, law, automobiles and NASA. A few times each year, spouses and significant others are invited to attend our meetings when the topics presented are considered to be of interest to the entire community.
SOCIAL CLUB
The club holds various social events throughout the year (typically one a month), to bring together all members of the community. This is a great way to meet fellow residents and have fun. Most of the events are held in the Mizner Falls Clubhouse. Past events have included dinner and dancing, New Year’s brunches, holiday parties, barbecues, quiz games and entertainers such as singers, magicians or comedians. The club also hosts occasional Friday night Happy Hours where we supply tableware and soft drinks, while residents bring an appetizer or dessert to share. All social functions are organized by a team of Mizner Falls’ residents who volunteer their time to hire entertainment, select and purchase food and decorations, set up the ballroom or tables by the pool, send out fliers, arrange seating, etc.
WOMEN’S CLUB
The Women’s Club of Mizner Falls was formed about 20 years ago and as of now, we have a membership of 100 women. Not only do we get to see friends and neighbors we know well, but it also serves as a wonderful way for new residents to meet and mingle and become a part of our warm and caring community. We meet once a month from November thru May on Wednesdays. Our programs are always fun and interesting. Who can forget our Two Chefs from Aprons, cooking & entertaining us, our high tea and our wonderful Fashion Show Luncheon with professional models representing the beautiful boutiques in the area? We toured the magnificent Wick Theatre Broadway Costume Museum; it was breathtaking especially when our girls wore the exhibition’s beautiful hats and our pictures were in our Messenger newsletter. And let’s not forget our day trip to Gulf Stream Casino with gambling, shopping and, of course, lunch. We have Bingo nights with prizes. For our final function, we teamed up with the Men’s Club to present a Mother’s Day, Father’s Day celebration held at the beautiful Gleneagles Country Club for a lavish Sunday brunch.

MAHJONG
A game of Chinese origin that is played with tiles resembling dominoes and bearing various designs, which are drawn and discarded until one player wins with a hand of four combinations of three tiles each and a pair of matching tiles.
PICKLEBALL
Pickleball is a paddle sport created for all ages and skill levels. It’s a fun sport combining many elements of tennis, badminton and ping-pong. Join us every Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m. Beginners as well as advanced players are welcome. All equipment will be provided. Wear comfortable clothes. Join us for the social aspects as well as a great way to start an exercise regimen!
